Laying the floor

The most important task is to prepare the underlaid. The base must be without crack, straight, smooth and solid. Most importantly it should be DRY, therefore in all cases you must check if the moisture content of the concrete corresponds to the value required for laying.

Without this process, no responsible warranty can be given. The appropriate value can be max. 2 CM% which is checked by our staff with quality measuring instruments.

If the value is higher it may lead later to corrugation of the floor, therefore a moisture barrier layer is required,or you have to wait for the concrete to dry. The failure of this examination can cause a major problem which can lead to picking up the floor.

It is the basis of all deposition methods, that inside the building laying the floor should be the last operation, when the wet work has already been completed and the building has dried up.

The subgrade concrete must be properly cleaned of any dust, paint and from other contaminants. If the base is not straight, possibly porous corresponding to the moisture content leveling must be carried out.

1. Laying the floor by gluing to base concrete

If socket leveling has been performed slightly and the surface for better grip.Care must be taken when selecting the adhesive it must not contain water and have adequate flexibility. Our company works with 2 component PU adheziv with thousands of m2 of experience.

/If we don't do the installation ask for our offer./

The adhesive requirement is 800-1200g/m2 depending on the quality of the underlaid.

Gluing is relatively simple. When laying the floor leave a gap(10-15 mm) at the edges of the wall and the pre-installed fixed elements(sill),which should be secured by wedging.(at the beginning and at the closing)The laying direction should be as parallel as possible to the incident light. The adhesive should be applied evenly to the substrate over the entire surface with the appropriate hanger spatula. After gluing always keep the drying time recommended by the manufacturer, otherwise the floor elements may move.

2. Fixing on OSB disk

The best solution if the formation of the building allows it.

The first workflow if necessary is the leveling then a vapor barrier film is placed on the subgrade concrete.

For this we place the OSB sheets, which must be min.15mm.

The OSB slab must be fixed to the concrete. If the position of the pipes running in the concrete is not known,or there is underfloor heating ,we can also fix the OSB by gluing.

The wooden floor is fixed(PU glue) to this surface by gluing and nailing.

3. Fixing to the wood coasters

The wood coasters can also be embedded in the subgrade concrete, or bolted to the subgrade concrete. If necessary the process starts with settlement and by placing a vapor barrier film. We place the wood coasters max 50 cm distance from each other, the cover may sink, and we place

sound-insulating material between them. An even denser wood coasters recommended for the doors due to high requisitioning. The hanging with pads, the outstanding parts being planned bring it to the right level. When laying, 15 mm gap should be left, the first and the last line always screw from the front, close to the wall wood coasters as the hem provides cover. From the second line screw the floor through the groove 45 degrees in the wood coasters.
